Golden Threads

I’ve been wrestling with how to best introduce our newest John 10:10 Project video, GOLDEN THREADS. It’s a film that has been on our “future productions” list for several years, but I was always a little edgy about how the subject matter might be perceived. You see, the incredible example of God’s creative brilliance we’re featuring this month is (drum roll, please) …the orb weaver spider!

This short film is a visual feast and a celebration of a creature that’s not often celebrated. Yet, these eight-legged engineers manufacture silk threads stronger than steel to construct webs that are envied by architects and engineers throughout the world. So please set aside any reservations you may have and then hit the play button. This is a remarkable story of divine beauty and design in the natural world that will fill your eyes and heart with wonder. I guarantee it.
